VIOLET DILLEY 100 Years Old Born 29th September 1920. Celebrated her 100th birthday at home in the village of Lapworth where she as lived for 99 years having been born in Jersey and moved to Lapworth aged 1. Violet married Jim (deceased) in 1938 and went on to have 8 children 7 daughters and 1 son. Violet has 12 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Violets family all live close by and she sees them regularly. Due to Covid 19 restrictions the celebrations have had to be curtailed but family and friends will visit within the correct guidelines Violet says the secret to a long life is being well cared for by the family and the occasional tot of brandy
